Cengage set out to implement a content management system (CMS) while executing a full website redesign. The goal was to support their extensive library of digital resources, deliver a modern digital experience, and connect a diverse audience with contextually relevant products. The business also needed a scalable solution capable of extending across additional brand entities.
Concord led a multi-phase implementation of Bloomreach Experience Manager, establishing a flexible infrastructure to support Cengage and its other brands, including Gale and ed2go. Leveraging the platform’s open architecture, the CMS was seamlessly integrated with Endeca, Eloqua, and the company’s product database.
The solution simplified product family and product detail pages while enabling advanced personalization to deliver tailored messaging and product presentation to multiple audiences, including higher-education faculty and students. The redesigned site earned a WebAward for “Best Publishing Website.”
